Hello, and welcome to Incidental Melodies, headquarters for Azar's new fan mix obsession. Said obsession is but the latest outgrowth of a long time fascination with movie soundtracks, that meeting place between story and song. The difference is, now I'm making my own. ;-)

There's always one or two songs that usually make a person go out and buy a film soundtrack. You know, the ones that played in the background of your favorite scene, and maybe lent it an extra punch. Well, in industry terms that's what's known as incidental music. Which is why I've named this site Incidental Melodies, because these songs are the tunes that play in the background of my mind when I think of these fandoms, characters, 'ships, etc.

A couple of notes about how this site works: first, if you want to know what the latest mix is, check out the column of images to the left--those are front cover graphics for my recent mixes, starting with the most recent at the top. Second, most of the songs on these mixes can be found on iTunes, RealRhapsody, etc. However, if there's a song that you absolutely cannot find anywhere, contact me and I'll do what I can to help you track it down. :-)

Last but certainly not least, this site is part of Worlds to Wander, was designed and is maintained by me, Azar, using the NLConvert script from CodeGrrl.
