Why: Because the song just felt right to me. Cassie--especially in "Rite of Passage" has always seemed to be the antithesis of the ordinary teenager. Instead of trying to blend in, she wants to stand out and really *be* the extraordinary girl she has to hide from her friends. And that's what the song is about--someone who just can't wait for the extraordinary life they know is waiting for them.

Why: Merry Christmas, matsujo9!!! I was going to make a Jack/Daniel-ish video for you but suprnova.org went off-line before I got all the seasons downloaded! :-( So, since I noticed you listed "any pairings" (except S/J and D/S) and Melissa Etheridge in your requests, I put this together. Hope you enjoy watching it! I've felt for a long time that this was a perfect song to express Daniel's grief over losing Sha're, and I'm sooooo glad I finally had the ability and the chance to vid it! :-)

Why: This has been a Jonas song--THE Jonas song--to me for a while now, because it just fits his character arc so well, and because the Kelownans are "sons of man" in the sense of being descended from Earth-born humans. *grin* I've been wanting to make a video of it, but have been having *tons* of trouble with Windows Movie Maker and my clips. Thankfully, Clara generously offered to collaborate. And this one is much more of a collaboration than Tryin' to Find Atlantis, which was mostly her--I picked the song, we chose clips together, and she compiled the whole thing so I could see our vision on the screen. Thank you soooo much, Clara! :-)

Why: Meg and I were talking shortly after I finished "Breathe" about how there were never *happy* Daniel/Sha're videos because their story didn't have a happy ending. She'd recently written and I'd recently read "Longing for Home," and it occurred to me that if I could somehow construct a video set in *that* universe, I could do a happy--or at least positive--one. Meg suggested the song, and I did my best to follow the chronology of the story! Thanks so much, Meg, for providing the inspiration of both the story and the song!
